On the train
I take the subway most mornings to work, and I always find myself watching people. Surreptitiously, of course, for someone staring you down on the metro is just plain weird. These two were some pictures I took while trying not to be noticed.
Yesterday morning, there was a gentleman, with the most fabulous leather jacket and bag…we boarded the train by the time I noticed him. I tried not to stare, but he did give me a, “oh, no, she’s a weirdo look,” so I played it cool all the while planning to stalk him off the train. Turns out he didn’t get off at my stop…but maybe, just maybe I’ll run into him this morning. Wish me luck!

I do that all the time, "stare" at people's outfits and pretend that I was looking out the windown. =)

Really like your blog!
Curious to know how did that skirt of the "golden" girl in the second picture do against the subway wind?
Not to mention it looks a bit sheer?
(BTW Why did you switch to Wordpress from Blogger?)

I think I need a tutu like that little girl has.

Hi Mxp. Regarding the "golden" girl's skirt, I didn't notice how it did in the wind. I very quickly took the picture and then went about my way. I hoped the picture would be usable, and I'm glad it was.
I switched to Wordpress, because of the options it offered, for a low tech like myself, that Blogger simply could not do for me. I'm happy to share more over email martni@beyondbostonchic.com in case you have more questions.

Yeah—some days, I feel like I need a tutu too.
