Giveaway!!
I have a wonderful love of vintage jewelry. It all started with buying earrings at flea markets, and now, I have a wonderful collection of great pieces pieces.
Every now and again, when I can’t make it to my favorite vintage shops in Boston, I scour the web looking for some good stuff. I was so happy to stumble upon Gracious Gems. Jaynee has a collection that’s right up my alley. For example, I’m so fixated on this Monet necklace. I have several Monet earrings, so I’m completely in love with his design.
Jaynee was kind enough to send me the above Vintage Turtoise Wrap Bracelet (circa 1970). Rather than keeping the lovely bracelet to myself, I thought: Ooh! Tini, you should do a giveaway. So there, you have it. Today, is a giveaway!
Here are the rules: leave a comment on your own favorite piece of vintage jewelry by Friday, August 20th by 9PM EST. I will choose a lucky reader at random to receive this lovely bracelet.
Now, for the fine print, siblings, dearest friends, Mom and aunties of yours truly need not apply. I know all your handles, dearest sister, so don’t even try it!

I like the white topaz ring, but I think the tortoise bracelet is indeed my favorite. : )
Love that bracelet — its right up my alley!
My favorite piece of vintage jewelry is an amethyst and silver ring that my mom made when she was in college at FIT, its sentimental and oh so pretty.
That bracelet is beautiful! My favorite vintage piece is a sapphire and diamond cocktail ring that I bought at Twentieth Century on Charles Street. It is always a conversation piece!
Love the tortoise bracelet! The favorite vintage pieces I own are a set of rhinestone earrings and matching necklace my mom scouted for me at a flea market – for a Marilyn Monroe costume, of course!
Beaufitul bracelet, very cool!
My favorite vintage piece is a beautiful cameo necklace my grandma gave me when I was young. She had bought it after a successful show, as she was a singer. It came with a chunky silver cameo bracelet too, but I love layering just the cameo necklace with several vintage rhinestone necklaces and vintage pearls over a black tee, with dark jeans. Casual dress up!
xx
The tortoise bracelet is amazing.
My favorite vintage piece is a silver ring my grandmother has. It has been in her family for years and it is truly a beautiful piece of jewelry.
So pretty!
My favorite vintage jewelry are amber screw on earrings that used to belong to my mother.
Gorgeous bracelet!
I have two favorite pieces, both large hinged bangle bracelets from my grandmother. One is a 3/4" wide gold bangle with light flower and filigree etchings on it. The other is a silver bamboo bangle. Both are from the 1950s.
Funny enough, my favorite piece of vintage jewelry was purchased in Boston (I live in San Francisco now). There was a huge street sale on Dartmouth St that I stumbled upon one year and I got a vintage Monet art deco style cuff that goes with nearly everything I own!
Mine would be this blue scarab ring that was my grandmother's… i got it when she passed away 9 years ago.
Beautiful Bracelet!
My favorite piece of vintage jewelry is a gold and glass octopus broach. It's really quirky (and not the typical vintage octopus that I see all over Etsy), but also somehow totally classic.
My vintage lacy ruffle ivory pendant. I know ivory is wrong…but I can't get enough of this piece and it is 4 generations passed down!
very nice! My fave vintage piece of jewelry is a garnet and gold ring my Godfather got me on my graduation, so pretty!
I love this old unicorn turquoise pendant my mom had as a teenager that she gave me. I love anything with marcasite as well!

My favorite vintage jewelry is a triple strand of pearls with a rhinestone-decorated flower from my aunt who passed away 2 years ago.
Thank you for your giveaway! I have a vintage feather shaped brooch with light blue and white rhinestones. I wear it on the lapel of blazers and cardigans, on my wool coat and on hats.
Love the pins….ALL of them. Especially the vintage turq and the rhinestone ones. The larger the better! In the winter months you'll find me wearing a brooch dialy on each jacket. Congrats! Jaynee….love it!
My favourite piece of vintage jewelry is a Carolee triple-strand pearl choker I bought for my first wedding 20 years ago.
I have a dragon ring that belonged to my Grandma. She loved big, bold jewelry. Thanks!
My favorite vintage piece of jewelry is the garnet-and-pearl ring my great-great-uncle, who was a jeweler, made in the early 19th century. We think he made it out of scraps he had around his shop, because it's a weird hodgepodge of materials. Which makes me love it even more.
