Great Cape Crusader
Here is a little bit of history on the street on which Kara and I took this picture. In college (or university for those of you from across the pond), I took a class on American literature where we read a slave narrative written by Harriet Jacobs. Turns out that Harriet Jacobs lived for a few years in a house right down this street.
I love history. I’m one of those annoying people who will walk down the street and will read every one of those bloody plaques that touts that “in this building blah blah blah lived for blah blah years.” I love that stuff!
As an fyi, Kara got her cape from the Buffalo Exchange. A new one opened in Allston and is apparently very good.
