French Look in Boston
There’s no doubt about it, Boston is a university/college town. With 80 colleges and Universities, we get a healthy influx of students who certainly contribute to the city’s sartorial voice. This young woman in this photo is French and was studying at one of the local universities for the summer. When I’m Style Hunting, I first notice one detail before focusing in on other elements of an outfit. I first spied her floral jacket as I was walking towards Fairfield Street. When I stopped to talk with her, I was presently surprised to discover that she had layered the jacket over a lace dress. What a lovely and unexpected look.
