Skulls
Boston natives Christopher Bennett and Bruce Franklin, known as their design name Robot&Brucling, respectively, moved to New York City to progressively work on their inaugural line of custom-made bow ties and accessories. In this photo, Robot is wearing the Phantom, a bow tie made from lambskin leather adorned with chrome spikes and brass skulls. As you go through the exhibit look out for them. They are two young men, one in black wearing bright red sneakers and the other wearing silver sneakers.
Chris and Bruce are the nicest and sweetest young men I’ve known. Coincidently, I met them while roaming the streets of Boston to look for subjects I’ve ever met.
Robot & Brucling are steadily making waves in the fashion world. Most recently, Beyoncé wore one of their ties at Oprah’s Farewell Spectacular.
