Haiti in the 80s

Last week, I showed a photo of my aunt Nirva.  This week I’m sharing photos of her beau, Clodel who would become my uncle through marriage.  This photo, along with Nirva’s photos were taken in the 80s in Haiti (all except the first photo in which Clodel is leaning against the car—he’s obviously in the States in that one).  I have loads of photos of my aunties all dressed up in Haiti, but this is the first time I’m seeing photos from my uncles.  Since most of my other uncles live in Haiti, I’ll have to wait to go there before I can share photos of how they rocked it with you.

Happy Wednesday!

Your uncle leaning on the pimp-mobil he looks cool… Not to mention the yellow shoes…. They could go straight into a cop show like Starsky & Hutch!
