Belt it Out
One day, 1 week before our move to London and while trying to calm down a cranky baby and amidst boxes, piles of once-upon-a-time valuables, frayed nerves it occurred to me that packing up house with a baby can be challenging.
We’re here though and have been for a few weeks. We have furniture, the nursery is set and I’ve finally unpacked all our clothes. Heck, we even have internet after a 3 week wait. I feel like we’re slowly settling in to life here in London.
This weekend, we finally had time to wander about the city. On Sunday we headed to Hampstead for the antique markets. And for the first time in 3 weeks, I brought my camera along.
We ran into Louis on our way to get a cup of tea to warm up from the cold. Louis is the first person I’ve photographed in 3 weeks! Yowsers! I hope to take more photos to share with you though! This of course, means that the little one and I have to leave the house before 11am.
The light wanes very, very early here in London. Last week we were headed to Kensington around 1pm and I thought to bring my camera with me but I knew that by 3:30pm, the light would be gone. Of course, this all means that I’ll have to get up early just to be sure that I’ll be able to capture something good to share with you.
Until next time!
