More Haiti pictures
Here are the rest of the pictures of my aunt (she lives here in BOS). In these pictures I believe she ranged from the age of 18-23. Upon seeing these pictures, I exclaimed how beautiful they were. She responded that on her way to school in Port-au-Prince several people had approached her to go to France to become a model. I didn’t ask her why she chose not to go, but I think I know. She was taking care of us while my mother moved here to the US for economic reasons.
The top two pictures are of our house as it was being built. Sadly that house crumbled down during the earthquake.
To think it’s going to be a week tomorrow since the earthquake hit. It feels longer than that. Like months really. We were glued to the tv and tried calling home countless times, but were only able to get news on Thursday afternoon. Mostly, the family is ok, but I think the shock that follows will be trying. I can’t describe the stress and the worry we feel here, I can only imagine how terrible it is to live through such a catastrophe. For now, we’ve donated to charities that are on the ground, are involved with planning benefits, have sent money through friends who have gone down to help….we’re saying I love you more and more. Aside from that it’s tough to know what to do.

Wow, the pics are fantastic as always. That first picture is stunning.
About your last sentence, I think that's how we all feel. I can't even imagine being connected to Haiti like you are.
