Beyond Boston Chic

Boy do the Melbournites love their black.  I think my sister and I are among the few to sport bright colored clothes here in the City.  I had a lovely day hanging out on Lygon Street and Brunswick Street.  I took some photos that I hope to share with you later in the week.  Yikes!  It’s Wednesday already?!  Where has the week gone?  And since it’s very late for me right now (I believe it’s pushing 11pm and with the jet lag, it feels muuuuch later), I’ll say good night!

I’m in Oz.  Whoo hoo! I’ve already over-dosed on Tim Tams and visited my favorite restaurant here in Melbourne.  Today we’re off to the Yarra Valley to do a bit of wine tasting.  In the meantime, enjoy this colorful photo of Ezzie Chidi-Ofong.

Please meet the absolutely lovely, Barbara von Enger of Canvas Art.  Barbara and I met outside of the Barbara Bui show in Paris.

The day before the Barbara Bui show, Honey and I found out that some dear friends were going to be in Paris for the last few days of their Honeymoon.   It is always so much fun to meet up with friends unexpectedly. And in Paris?!  Well, I couldn’t complain.  We all met up for lunch at L’Absinthe, wandered around town, ate a few desserts at a boulangerie before walking 3 miles across times to Restaurant 404 for dinner.   I have to say that I’m very happy about being back, though we’re leaving for another small trip verrrryy soon though.  More on that later.

It’s the lovely Adama Kai of Aschobi Designs.  My friend Irene and I ran into her in Paris.  I can’t wait for her new website to see more of her designs.  Check out this interview on her here.

Happy Friday! I for one am looking forward to a weekend of sleeping in and doing nothing–other than perusing the net and thinking about the projects I could be doing of course….
