Martini has lived in the Boston area since the age of 10 and is still in love with her hometown. She decided to start Beyond Boston Chic on a particularly dreary day in February of 2008 while eating a hot bowl of tomato soup at the Cellar in Cambridge. This determination to start the blog stemmed from a desperate yearning for sartorial inspiration in the depth of winter. She went out with her camera the very next day and started taking pictures of stylish Bostonians. When she is not running after dapper people around Boston and the world, Martini enjoys her work in the field of education policy.
